5 Foods You Should Never Eat


Fruit Juice

Most varieties of fruit juice you see at the store are pasteurized, which basically makes these products useless because they are stripped of their nutrition. Not only does the juicing process destroy most of the fruit’s nutrition and antioxidants, it removes nearly all of the natural fiber. If you make it fresh at home, a glass of fruit juice wont hurt; but when consumed every day it does quite a bit of damage because it causes a major spike in blood glucose. So, before you drink another glass of fruit juice think about how much better a few oranges would be for you.


Almost all the soy grown in the U.S. is genetically modified to “naturally” repel bugs. Most people don’t have the enzymes necessary to digest processed soy, so this causes indigestion, gas, bloating, and a whole lot more issues. Long-term use of soy dietary supplements, such as soy protein, is unsafe because it may cause:

  • Hay fever
  • Asthma
  • Breast cancer
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Endometrial cancer
  • Hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid)
  • Kidney disease
  • Urinary bladder cancer

All of these are great reasons why soy is definitely one of the foods you should never eat.

Vegetable Oils

Canola stands for “Canadian oil low acid” and comes from a genetically engineered form of rapeseed, a bright yellow flower that people in China harvest as a vegetable. Vegetable oils are processed in a factory, usually they come from genetically modified crops(like rapeseed) that have been heavily treated with pesticides. Like margarine, vegetable oils, and canola are not healthy. Some things that can be caused  by consuming to much vegetable oils:

  • Atherosclerosis
  • Birth defects
  • Bone and tendon problems
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Digestive disorders
  • Heart disease
  • Immune system impairment
  • Increased cholesterol levels
  • Learning disabilities
  • Liver problems
  • Low birth weights
  • Obesity
  • Reduced growth
  • Skin reactions
  • Sterility
  • Vision reduction

If you do buy an oil, buy coconut oil, but make sure it smells like coconut before you buy it.

Microwave Popcorn

These little bags of popcorn seem so cute and innocent, don’t they?Well,  they aren’t.

Most popcorn brands use artificial butter flavoring in their popcorn. This toxic chemical is called diacetyl, and can cause respiratory and lung problems, and may even cause damage to the brain. Even if you were to find some organic popcorn out there, it still wouldn’t be safe to eat because microwavable bags are coated with PFOAs, Perfluorooctanoic Acid, a chemical that is known to cause to cancer.

So what do you do when you want to eat some popcorn? Just make your own!

Table Salt

Pretty much everyone has heard that white table salt causes high blood pressure, but that hasn’t stopped almost all the restaurants in the country from putting it on all of their tables! Manufacturers use methods that strip it of all its naturally-occurring minerals, and then use a number of additive stuff (including aluminum) to dry and heat it to temperatures about 1,200 degrees.Because it draws water, it interferes with the normal absorption of water, and leads to constipation.
